Terms of Use

Non-commercial personal project. Turistar is a personal portfolio and demonstration app, not a commercial service. No SLA or uptime guarantees are offered.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Turistar you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Purpose and permitted use
Turistar is provided for demonstration and personal evaluation. You may:
- Explore features and create example itineraries for non-commercial use.
- Share demo content with collaborators you authorize.
- Keep any information you submit accurate and lawful.
You must not use the app in any unlawful, offensive, fraudulent, or rights-infringing manner. Do not upload confidential or sensitive information.
3. Accounts and security (if available)
If account creation is available, you are responsible for your credentials and for all activity under your account. Do not reuse a password that you use elsewhere. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the app. Content may be removed at any time in our discretion because this is a demo environment. You are responsible for ensuring your content complies with applicable laws and does not infringe third-party rights.
5. Intellectual property
All rights in Turistar, including trademarks, interface, source code, and support materials, belong to Turistar or its licensors. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.
6. Fees
There are currently no paid plans or fees. If paid features are introduced in the future, updated terms and pricing will be presented before any purchase.
7. Availability, suspension, termination
We may change, suspend, or terminate the app or your access at any time, including for maintenance, security, or misuse. You may stop using the app at any time. Some data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate security purposes.
8. Third-party services and links
The app may reference or link to third-party content or services. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party sites, services, or policies.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Turistar is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or that data will be preserved. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or profits. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim, if any.
10. Children
Turistar is not directed to children under 13, or under 16 where applicable. Do not use the app if you are under the minimum age in your jurisdiction.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice in the app or by email when feasible. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts of São Paulo/SP have exclusive jurisdiction.
